Privacy notice
Who we are
Ski With Me is run by Olly Diamond, a sole trader based in England. For anything about your data, email hello@skiwithme.app.
Ski With Me is for riders aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and if we find we have, we delete it.
What we collect
- When you join the waitlist: your email address, the resorts you plan to visit, roughly when, and whether you ski or snowboard.
- If you answer the optional questions: how and how often you ride, how you feel about the idea, your usual level, age range, gender, and your mobile number if you choose to give it.
- How you found us, for example a QR code at an event.
- Anonymous visit counts for this website. These use no cookies and don't identify you.
Why we use it
- To tell you when Ski With Me goes live at the resorts you chose. We rely on your consent for this, and you can withdraw it at any time.
- To understand demand and shape the product. We rely on our legitimate interest in building a service people want.
- To show resorts how many riders are interested. We only ever share combined, anonymous figures, such as "40 riders plan to visit in February". We never share your name, email or phone number with a resort without asking you first.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Tally, our form provider, based in Belgium.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and counts visits, based in the United States, with safeguards in place for international transfers.
- Microsoft, which provides our email.
How long we keep it
Until Ski With Me launches at a resort you chose, or 24 months after you sign up, whichever comes first. After that we delete it, unless you've started using the service. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@skiwithme.app and we'll respond within one month. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
